Declaratory Registrutlon (Valletta and Floriana) Order, 1997

IN exe rcise of the powers conferred by section I S of the Land

Registration Act, the Minister of Justice and Local Councils has made

the following order:-

I. This order may be cited as the Declaratory Registration

(Valletta and F1oriana) Order. 1997. and shall come into force on the

1st day of October. 1997.

hereto attached are designated to be Declaratory Registration Areas for

the purposes of section I S of the Land Registration Ac \.

This order shall apply onl y to all the land, which in tenns of

the Land Registration Act includes building or any other construction

or works

(a) o wned by the Govern ment. by e ntities in wh ich

Government has a controlling interes! or by parastatal bodies; and!

situated within the: street blocks marked A. B. C and D

(b)

on the map marked Y contained in the Schedule hereto attached.

wh ic h land shall be registerable althe Land Registry by the owners

or administrators of such land. by not later than the 30th January.
