ENGINEERING PROFESSION ACT

(CAP. 321)

Engineering Prufession (A pplication fur the Issue of II Warrant)

(Amendment) Regula tions, 1997

IN exerci se of the powers con ferred by section 21 of the

Eng ineering Profession Act, the Min ister o f Publ ic Works and

Conslruction, aft er consult ing the Engi neerin g Board , has made the

following regulations:-

I. These reg ul a ti o ns may be c ited as the Engineering

Profess ion (Application for the Issue of a Warrant)fA me ndmenl)

Reg ulations, 1997 and s hall be read and construed as one with the

Enginee rin g Profess ion (Application for the Iss ue of a warrant)

Reg ulati ons. 1990. hereinafter referred to as "the principal

regulations".

In regulation 3 o f the princi pal regu lations. immediately

a fter paragraph (3) thereof. there shall be added the fo llowing new

paragra ph :-

"(4) A fee of Lm20 shall be paid to the Board by a persoll

ho lding fo re ign pro fe ss iona l e ngineeri ng qLlalificati ons

acce ptable to the Board, in respect o f the iSSLIe o r renewal o f a

special lice n ce .~ .
