LoclIl Co un cils Act (Amendment of Fi rst Schedule)

(Amendment No.2) Regulations, 1996

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section

72 and by section 74 of the Local Councils Act, I993. the Pri me M iniste r

has made the following regu tmions: -

(I) These regulations may be ci ted as the Local Councils

Act (Amendmcll1 of First Schedule) Regulations, 1996.

(2) All)' reference 10 "t he Act" in these regUlations shall be

co nstrued as a re ference 10 the Local Councils Act, 1993.

The deS ign in the coat-of-arms in the Fi rs t Schedul e [0 the

Act of the following locali ties shall be amended as follows:-

(a) for the coal-of-arms of the locality of MGA.RR there

shall be substituted the following

MGARR

(b) for the c03\-of-arm s ofthe locality of PAOLA there shall

be substitu ted the following

PAOLA
