IN exercise of the powers conferred by the Local Loans Act, 1996 and

by section 4( lXa), ofthc Local Loans(Registered Stock and Securities)

Ordinance, Cap. 161, the Mi nister of Finance has authorised that due

to oversubscription in Lm7,500,ooo 63% Malta Government Stock

1999 (m ) created by means ortegal Notice No. 56 of 1996 published

on the 4th Apri l, 1996 , an additional LmUOO ,OOO 6.3% Malta

Government Stock 1999 (ITI) having the same conditions shaJl be

created thus bring ing the I()(ai amou nt of this Stock to lm9,ooo.ooo.

All applications rece ived by the closing date 27th Apri l. 1996 wi ll be
