HoUSing Authority (Transfer of Assets)

Order, 1996

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Housing

Authority ACI. the President of Malta has made the following order:-

I . This order may be cited as the Housing Authority (fransfer

of Assets) Order, 1996.

The property described in ankle 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purposes of section 12 ofme Housing Authority Act.

The property speci fied in article 2 of this order shall be

tranSferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the section

aforesaid with effect from the l6ch January, 1996.

The property referred to in anicle 2 of this order is the

following, that is 10 say

of approximately 3,733 square metres. bounded on the North by

Triq San Porfirju. 011 the South-East by Triq j·Areipriel E. Mifsud

four garages (underlying in pan the abo\'e maisooeltes) all

accessible from a separate external door unofficially numbered

1 to 4 in Triq il-Kosbor.

(b) 1be other block consists of sixteen maisonettes

all accessible from a se parate e xternal door unofficially

numbered 5 to 20 in a road without name. The same block

also includes 16 garages (underlying in part the above

maisonettes) all accessible from a separate external door

ullQfficially numbered 5 to 20 in Triq il-Kosbor.

The whole block of maisonettes and garages numbered

I to 4 mentioned above are bounded all together on the North-

East by Triq il-Kosbor, South-East and South-West by a

public road.

The other whole block of maisonettes and garages

numbered 5 to 20 mentioned above are bounded all together

on the North-Easl by Triq iI-Kosbor, North-Wes t and South-

West by a public road.

These maisonettes Nos. 1 to 20 and garages Nos. 1 to

20 are shown edged red on Plan L.D. 37/8912 .

garages in Triq il-Milhna l-Gdida, Ta' Pennellu Housing Estate,

which are siluated as follows

door numbered I and 2 having a common entrance without a

number in Triq il-Muna. Three garages all accessible from a

separate e:o;ternal door unofficially numbered I to 3 in Triq

il-Mitt'lna I-Gdida and underlying in pan maisonettes/flats

numbered I and 2.

(b) Four maisonettes/flats accessible from an internal

door numbered 310 6 having a common entrance withou t a

nu mber in Triq il-Mithna l-Gdida. Four garages all accessible

from a separate external door unofficiall y numbered 4 to 7

Housing Estate, Mgarr, which are situated as follo ws: -

(a) 16 maisoneltes all accessible from a separate

without name.
