regulalions:-

( I) These regulations may be cited as the Tomato Paste and

Sale of Tomatoes for Processing Purposes (Control) (Amendment)

Regulations. 1996, and shall be read and construed as onc with the

Tomato Paste and Sale of Tom:ltocs for Pu)Cessing Purposes (Control)

Regulations, 1957. hereinafter ref(:rred toas "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall come inlo force on the day

following their publication in the Gazette .

In paragraph (2) of regula tion 12 of the principal regulations,

for the words ··moisture and sale there shall be substituted the words

"moisture. sugar and salt".
