IN exeocise oflhe powers conferred by the Local Loans Act, 1996

and by sectio n 4( IXa), of the Local Loans (Registered Stock and

Securities) Ordinance, Cap. 161. the MinisterofFinancc has authorised

that due to oversubscription in

Stock 1999 M created by means of Legal Notice No. I7S of 1996

published on the 10th September. 1996. an additional Lm2.250.ooo

63% Malta Government Stock 1999 (V) having the same conditions

shall be created thus bringing the total amount of this Stock to

Lm5 ,250,OOO. All applications received by the closing date 28th

September. 1996 will be accc:pted .
