Infectious or Contagious Di.w ases (Extension) Order. 1996
IN virtue of the powers vested in him by sectio n 11 of the
Prevention of Disease Ordinance. the Minister for Social Developmem.
on the advice of the Council of Ueulth, has ordered Ihtlt the provisions
o f section 7 of the said Ordinance (dealing with the duty of Medical
Practitioners 10 notify certain discases) shall as from the J 8th October,
1996 also apply to Cr~ut1/ddt-JaJcob Disease as they already apply 10
(he infectious or contagious diseases mentioned in subsection (2) of
seclion 10 of the said Ordinance.
