FEES ORDINANCE (C AP. 35)

Al coholic Beverages (Amcndnlcnt) Regul ations. 1996

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 99 of the Spirits

Ordinance and by section 2 of the Fees Ordinance. the Minister of

Finance has made the following regLilations:-

I. (I) These regu lations may be cited as the Alcoholic

Beverages (Amendment) Regu lat ions, 1996 and shall be read and

construed as one with the Alcoholic Beverages RegLilations, 1974,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations" ,

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force 00 the 1st January , 1996.

For parograph (6) of regulation 12 oCthe principal regulations

there shall be substituted the- following

"(6) The Comptroller may, on good caLise being shown,

pemlit the scaling of bottles otherwise than by the use of a paper

band Limier sLich conditions as he may deem fit to impose , or

dispense with suc h sealing when other fonns of control are deemed

by him to be satisfactory in the circumstances.".
