EDUCATION ACT

(CAP. 327)

Statute amending Statute 6 (Amendment No. 1) or the University

of Malta - The Principal and Other Officers of the University

IN ex.ercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 30(5)

and 31(6) of the Education Act (Cap. 327), the Chancellor of the

University of Malta has promulgated the following statute made by the

Council of the University of Malta by virtue of the powers conferred

upon it by sections 31 and 48(3) of the said Act

This statute may be cited as the Statute amendi ng Statute 6 (Amendment

No. l ) of the University of Malta - The Principal and Other Officers of the Uni versity

- and shall be read and construed as one with Statute 6 of the Uni versity of Malta

included in Schedule 11 o f the Education Act (Cap . 327). herei nafter referred to as "the

principal statute".

Reg. 2 — 165 tal-1996 – Statut li jemenda l-Istatut 6 (Emenda Nru. 1) ta' l-Universita ta' Malta - L-Uffiċjali Ewlenin u Uffiċjali Oħra ta' l-Università Open official source

The princ ipal statute shall be amended as follows

(a) for sub-paragraph (b)of paragraph 60f anicle 6.1 of the principal statute

there shall be substituted the following

"(b) countersign all documen ts to wh ieh the Universi ty seal is

affix.ed;·'.

(b) for sub-paragraph Cb) of paragraph 2 of article 6.2 of the principal statute

there shall be substituted the following

"(b) sign the documents certifying academic awards made by the

University and keep a complete record of them;".
