IN exercise of the powers conferred by the Local Loans Act, 1996 and

by section 4(IXa), of the Local Loans (Registered SlOck and Securities)

Ordinance . Cap. 161, tlle Minister of Finance has authorised that due

tooversubscriplion in LmlO.ooo.ooo 7.25% Malta Government Stock

2006 (III) created by means ofl..egal Notice No. 127 of 1996 published

on the 28th June. 1996. an additional LmS.ooo,ooo 1.25% Malta

Government Stock 2006 (Ill) having the same conditions shall be

created thus bringing the total amount of this Stock to Lm 15 .000.000.
