IN exercise of the powers conferred by the Local Loans Act. 1996 and

by section 4( I)(a), of the Locall.oans (Registered Stock and Securities)

Ordinance , Cap, 161,the Minisler of Finance has authorised that due

tooversubsctiption in Lm4.ooo,ooo 6.75% Malta Govcmment Stock

200 I (IV) created by means of Legal Notice No, 126 of 1996 published

on the 28th June. 1996, an addi tional Lm3,500.ooo 6 .75% Malta

Government Stock 2001 (IV) having the same conditions shall be

created thus bringing the IOIa1 amou nt of Ihis Slock 10 Lm7.soo,ooo,

All applications received by lhe closing date 20th July,l996 will be

accepted .
