THE Malta Board o f Slandards hereby notifIeS that the Safety of

Toys Order, 1996 (Order No. M32 of 1996) was laid before the House

of Represenlatives in accordance with subsection (2) of section 5 o f the

Quality Control (ExportS. ImportS and Local Goods) Act on the 29th

J anuary, 1996 and that the said Order shall come in to force on the 1st

July . 1996 , provided th at the requirements of article 8 of such Order

and the CE marki ng shall not be obligatory prior to the J st January,
