Police Licences (A mendment) Regulations, 1996

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Police

Licences Act, the Minister for Home Affairs, with the concurrence of

the Minister of Finance, has made the following regulations:-

(I) These regu lations may be cited as the Police Licences

(Amendment) Regulations. 1996, and shall be read and construed as

one with the Police Licences Regulations. 1949. hereinafter referred to

as "the principal regulations".

1bese regulations shall come into force 00 the 1st June,

1996. Part I of the First Scl'ledule to the principal regulations shall

be amended as follows

(a) items 107, 108 and 109 thereof shalt be renumbered as

items 108, 109 and I iO respectively; and

(b) immediately after item 106, there shall be inserted the

following new item

" 107. Licence alteration fee for the

issue of a licence ill substitution of an existing

one in Vlew of a pefliOnal transfer of a Monti

hawker's licence and any other licence relating

to a kiosk of any nature. except when such

trnnsfer relates to the husband or wife, or any

person in the direct descending line. including

adopted children through inler vivos or causa

mortis transmission, on proof of the family

relationship to the existing licence-holder
