Oversells Telephone Service (A mendment) Regulations, 1995

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Telemalta

Corporation Act. the Board, with the approval of the Minister for

Transport, Communi<;ations and Technology and with the con<;urrence

of the Minister of Finance, has made the following regulations:~

I. (I) These regu lations may be cited as the Overseas

Telephone Service (Amendment) Regulations, 1995. and shall be read

and construed as one with the Overseas Telephone Service Regulations,

1957, hereinafler referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regula tions shall be deemed to have come into

force on the 2nd October. 1994.

The Second Schedule to the principal regulations shall be

amended as follows: -

(a) in Zon t 7 thereof, under the region AUSTRALASIA.

the country "Cocos Island." shall be de leted: and

(b) in Zont 8 thereof, for the cou ntry "Australia" there shall

be substituted Austral ia and Cocos Island".

The Fourth Schedule to the principal regu lations shall be

amended as follows:-

(a) in Zone 7 thereof, under the region AUSTRALASIA,

the country "Cocos Isla nd, " shall be deleted ; and

(b) in Zone 8 thereof, for the country" Australia" there shall

be substituted" Australia and Cocos Island".
