Nations (Security Council Sanctions) Act, 1993, the Prime Minister has

made the following regula tions:-

These regulations ma y be cited as the United Na tio ns

Sanctions (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia - Serbia and Montenegro)

(Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1995 and shall be rcad and

construed as onc with the United Nat ions (Federal Republic of

Yugos lavia - Serbia and Monte negro) Re gulation s, 1994, hereinafte r

referred to as "th e principal regulations".

For regulation 21 of the principal regulations there shall be

substituted the followi ng: -

(a) Notwithstanding the provisions of these

regulations, regulations 6, 7, 8, 17 and 2Q shall be

deemed to have been suspended with effeet from th e 5th

Cktobcr, 1994 and shall rem ain suspended unti l the 22nd

April ,I995.

(b) In so far as an)' aircraft are concerned, the

suspension of regula tions 6, 7 and 17 shall onl)' appl )' to

aircraft which have not as ),et been impounded and to

an)' ciyilian passenger flights to and from Belgrade

airport c:arrying onl), passengers and personal effc:cts and

no cargo, unless authorised to proceed 10 such

destination b), the Committee.

(c) In so far as shi ps or Yessels are concerned , the

suspension of regulations 17 and 20 shall onl )' appl)' 10

ferry services belween Bar in the Federal Republic of

Yugoslavia (Serbia and Monlenegro) and Bari in Ilal)'

carr)'ing onl), passengers and personal effects and no

cargo, unless authorised to effect services between the

two destinations b)' Ihe Committee.".
