Motor Vcbldes (Wearing of Seat Belts) Regulations, 1995

BY virtue of the powers given by paragraph (2) of regulation 1

ofme Moux Vehicles (Wearing of Seal BellS) Regulations. 1995, the

Commissioner of Police with the advice of thc Traffic ContrOl Board,

and the Chainnan of the Public Transport Authority. wi th lhe consent

of the Minister (or Transport, Communications and Technology, have

esll1blishcd the 1st January. 1996 IS the date when alllhe provisiolU

of the Motor Vehicles (Wearing of Seat Belts) Regulations. 1995.

published by Legal Notice l290f 1995, shall come into force in respect

of molor ve hicles whose year of production is 1990 or any other year

thereafter, and which motor vehicles are for the purposes o(regulation

3 of those regulations being de noted as specified motor-cars.
