IN exercise of the powers conferred by 5ecUon 37 orlhc Tclemalta

Corporation Act. the Board, with the approva1 of tbe Mini$lcr for

Transport . Communications and Tedtnok>gy, aDd with the concunence

of the Mi nister of Finance. has made the following rqu1aliollJ;-

(I) These regulations may be cited as the Telephone Service

(A mendment) (NO. S) Regulations. 1995, and shall be read and

construed as one with the Telephone Service Regulations, 1972.

hereinafter referred to as ~ the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed 10 have come into

force on the: 1st January. 1995, exccpt fo r the proviso 10 ite m 8 in the

Second Schedule <:on lained in regula tion 4 hereunder which shall be

deemed to have come inlO force On the 16th May, 1995 .

Z. For subparagraph (d ) of paragnph (2) of regula tion )S of the

principal regulations there shall be substituted the following

-(d) the subscriber shall at all times k«p in prOl11incnl

display and auached to the coin-Dol[ a notice spccifying; -

(i) that the official rate charged by Telemalta

Corporalion in rc:5po!Ct of each ca ll is five cenl s per pulse.

inclusive of Value Add ed T ax, th at the puhe frequency may

vary in consid era ti on oflhe destination of the call and the time

of the doy during which such call is effected. and that for

further informa tion the user of the installation may dial 190

and refer to the operator enquiry service provided by

Te1emaha CollK'ration; and

(ii ) the name a nd IKId rc:ss of the owner of the coin-Dox

and the name .nd addrc:s,< of the importer. M .

J. Im mediately after regulation 55 of the principa l regulat ions

there shall be added the following new regu lation
