Regula tio ns, 1995

IN exercise of the powers conferred by .s«tion 37 of the Telemalta

Corporation Act. the Board. with the approval of the Minister for

Trunsport, Communications and Technology and with the concunenee

of the M inister of Finance, has made the following regulations

I . (I) These regulations may be cited as the Telegraphi c and

Telex Service Tariffs (Amendme nt) Regulutions. 1995, and shall be

/Cad and construed as on.;: with the Telegraphic and Telex Service Tariffs

Regulations. 1977. hereina fter referred 10 as ·'the principal regulations",

(2) These regul ations shall be deemed to have come into

force on the IsI January. 1995.

Im mediately unc r regulati on 5 of the prinCipal regulations

there shall be added the following new regulnlion

For the purposes orthe Value Added Tax Act, 1994,

vulue addcd tax shall be levied on all charges wh ic h are

P'lyable under these regulat ions in respect of the provision

of ;111)' goods or scrvices being taxable supp lies wi thin the

terms of the s:lid Act and any regu lations issued the reu nder .

und the tax ~hall be billed over and above the said charges.
