Amend me nt Rules for Hono urs, Awa rds and Decor atio ns, 1.995

IN virtue of the POWCl1i conferred on him by section 26 of the

Gieh ir-Repubblika Act. and of all other powers enabling him, the

President of Malta has, on the adv ice of lhc: Prime Minis ter , made the

following roles: -

These Rules may be cited as [he Amendmen t Rules for

Honours, Awards and Decorations. 1995 . and shall be read and

construed as one with the Rules for Honours, Awards and Decorations,

1990, hereinafter refclred to as "the principal rules",

Immediately afle r subparagraph (b) of paragraph (2) of rule

7 of the principal rules, there sh .. 1I be added the following proviso

" Provided that the insignia for honorary members in thi s

grade shall consist only o rlhe Neck B adge unless the Breast Star

together wi th the Neck Badge is con ferred as a funher mark of

distinction." .

Immediately after subparagraph (b) of paragraph (5) of rule

13 of the pr incipal rules, the re s hall be added the following

subparagraph

"(c) A lapel clip denoting the M idalja g hall -Qadi tar-

Repubblika may be worn and thi s shall measure approximately

15mm in length and 2mm in width . made in fabric in two equal,

white and red. horizontal s tripe s. the white above the red.".
