IN exercise of the powers confctled by sections 6(2) and

374 of the Merchant Shipping Act, the Minister for Transport.

Communications and Technology, with the COn CUJTeDCC of the

Minister of Finance, has made the following regulations:-

( I) These regularions may be cited as the Merchant

Shipping Act (Substitution of Fim Schedule) Regulations, 1995,

and shall be rer.d and construed aJ one with the Merchant

Shi pping Act. hereinafter referred to as ~the Act",

(2) These regulations shall comc inlo force on the 1st

October. 1995.

For the First Schedule 10 the Act, there shall be

substituted the following new Schedule;·

E. For the purposes of this Schedule,

was buil! and the year in respect of which the f~ is due;
