Public Lollo (Amendmenl ) Regula lions, 1995

IN exercise of the powcrs conferred by section oS of the Public

Lotto Ordinance, the Minister of Finance has made the following

regulations:-

( I ) These regulations may be cited as the Public Louo

(Amendment) Regulations, 1995, and shall be read an d construed as

one with Ihe Lono Regulations. 1990. hereinafter referred 10 as "the

principal rtgulalions" .

(2) These regulations shall be deemed 10 have come into

force on the 1st July. 1995 .

Regulation 6 of the pri ncipal regulations shall be amended

as follows: -

<a) in the proviso to paragraph (I) thereof, for the word

"Minister" there shall be su bstituted the word " Director~; and

(b) immediately after paragra ph ( I) thereof, there shall be

added the following proviso;

"Provided further that the Minister may au thorise any

othe r excess if he deems it justified on grounds of policy." .
