W age Increase Na ti onal S ta nda rd (Amendment) O rder, 1995

LN exercise orllle powers conferred by section 4 of d1e Conditions

of Employment (Regulation) Act, the Minister of Education and Human

Resources. on the recommendation of the Labour Board, has made

the following order:-

J. This Order may be dted as the Wage Increase National

Standard (Amendment) Order, 1995.and it shall be read and construed

as onc with the Wage Increase National Standard Order, 1994,

hereinafter re ferred \0 as "the principal Order" .

Im mediately after paragraph (2) of article 2 of the pri ncipal

Order there shall be added the {ollowing new paragraph

"(3) An amount of Lm26, equivalent to Lm 1 per week for

six months. shall also be paid by employers in one lump sum at

the end of September 1995 to all whole.time employees who are

on cheir books as on Chat date . This sum shall be recove rable out

of funds due co Government by way of income: tax and social

securilY contribulions.".
