Motor Vehicles (A mendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 1995

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Traffic

Regulation Ordinance and by section 27 of the Public Transport

Authority Act. the Chainnan of the Public Transport Authori ty. wi th

the consent of the Minister for Transport . Communicatio ns and

Technology. has made the following regulations:-

I. These rc¥ulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles cu;". ..

(Amendment )(No. 3) Regulations, 1995, and shall be read and conStrued

as one with the Motor Vehicles Regulations 1994, hereinafter referred L.N. 121 of 1994 .

thereafter, the distinction marts and colours of the routes shall be

as set out in the same Schedule and the shade of colours shall be

approved by the Public Transport Authority.".

J. The Schedule lothe principal regulations shall be amended as A

follows :-

(a) immediately after the words "MALTA - Colour Light

Green" there shall be added the words" ,and until the 30th October,

1995, and in all cases thereafter, Colour Light Orange with Dark

Orange band as per shade approved by the Public Transport

Authori ty. The band is to be a single hori zontal band varying in

width between 2Ocm. and 3Ocm,"; and

(b) for the words " MOTOR OMNIBUSES NOT NOR-

MALLY ON SCHEDULED SERVlCE - Blue and Cream"there

shall be substituted " MOTOR OMN IBUSES NOT NORMALLY

ON SCHEDULED SERVICE - Colour to be chosen by operator,

as long as it is not mistake n with the motor omnibuses route

distinction marks aod colours, and as approved by the Public

Transport Authority ,"
