IN exercise of the powen conferred by section 82 of the Cu~lom5

Ordinance. the Minister of Finance has made the following

regulations:-

I. Thoc regulations may be cited as the O bnoxious Articles

( Pro hibition o f Importation) (Armndmenl) RegUlations , 1994 and ~all

be read and construed as one wit h the Obnoxious Articles (Prohibition

of Importation) RcpilaliQns, I97S, hereinafter referred 10 as Mlhe

imported inlo MHlta by a person legally entitled 10 provide

television b roadcasting services in Malta when the Comptroller of

CUStoms is sa tisfied that l och film is being imported only fo r the

purpose of its being broadcast on television according to the

provisions of the Broadcalting Act , 1991, and of any regulations

made or licence issued thereunder.".
