The PresideD! of Malta approved the following Rules of Coun

made by the Rule Making Board constituted in terms of section 29 of lhe

Code of Organwllion and Civil Procedure.

I. These Rules may be cited as the Court of Appeal (Distribution

o r Cases) Rules , 1994, and shall come inlofo= on Ihe29th April, 1994.

The Chief Justia: ilhall assign and appoint lbe~ lobe heard

by the Second Chamber of lhe Court of Appeal, and ~ by the: fint

Chamber of the same Court, on the basis of the following principles:-

(cl an appeal from a judgment passed by the Gozo Court

(d) appeals wh ich primll !IJcit appear 10 be of a complex or

romplicated nalure or which would require hearings spread over

mo«i than one sitting. shall normally be Ikall with by the First
