IN eJte rcisc of the powen conferred by scctioll 3 of the Police

Licences Act , the Minister for Home Affairs and Social Development,

with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, has made the following

regulations:-

I. (1) These regulations may be cited as the Police Licences

(Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations , 1994 and shall be read and

conmued as onc with Ihe Police Licences Regulations. 1949,

llereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations

•

(2) These regulations shall be deemed 10 lIay., come into

force on the 151 January, 1994.

(3) Subparagraph {ill of paragraph (a), subparagraph (i) of

paragraph (b), and paragraph (c) insofar as only relating to the addition

of a new proviso , of regulation 2 of the Police Licences (Amendment)

(No. 3) Regulations, 1993, shall be repealed and shall be deemed never

to have been read and construed as onc with the principal regulations;

and the principal regulations shall be deemed neve:r to have: been

amended by the aforementioned provisions.

The First Scmdule to the principal regulations shall be

amended as foUows:-

(a) in Part I thereof. for item 70 there shall be substituted the

following:-

driven vehicle (other than a taxi cab) or any

motor vehicle (excluding a motor invalid chair or

carriage) not specified in other items under this
