(CAP. 65)

Motor Vehkitt (Ameodml'nl) Regulations, 1994

IN exercise o f the powers conferred by section 17 of the Traffic

Regulation, Ordinance, the Commissioner of Police with the

advice of the Traffic Control Board, and the Public Transport

Authority have made the following rcgu]ations:-

I . ( I) These regulations may be cited as the Motor

Vehicles (Amendment) Re gula tions, 1994 and shall be read and

construed as one with the Motor Vehicles Regulations. 1948,

here inafter referred to as ~ th e principal regulations" ,

force on the 1st January. 1994.

Regulation 2.S of the principal regulations shall be

amended as follows:-

(a) the words from ~The purchaser or the person 10 whom

such motor vehicle has been transferred to "payment of the

transfer fee ," shall be deleted; and

(b) th e words from "The Commissioner of Police shall not

register 10 "or that no such duty is due." shall be deleted.
