IN exercise of the powers confe rred by lection 2 of the Fees

OnIinance. tile Minister for Youth and tile Arts, wit h the concurrence

of the Minislcrof Finance. hall m"de Ill<: following regul .. IKms: -

I . ( I) These regulations may be ciled as the National Muse ums

and Monumen ts ( Fees) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1994 and

shall be read and con§lrued as one wilh the National Museu ms and

Monumen ts (Fees) Regulations, 1992. hereunder referred to II'l ~the

principal regulalions~.

(2) These regulations Shall come inlO force on Ihe 1st

Qclober.I9'}4.

For regulation 3 of the pri ncipal regulations Ihere shall be

substituted Ihe foliov.ing:-

(1 ) There sll&1I be charged by the Di.caor of

Muse ums for the period hetween lhe 1st October, 1994 and

30th June. 1995. a fee of one Mal1ese lira per person of 19

yean of age and over for admission on any weekday including

Sa1 urda)'$ and Sunda)'$. to any of the museums and

monuments wi1h the exception of the Hal Samen'

Provided Ihal 00 admission fee 10 the museums and

monu~nlS shall be charged as regards pers.ons who -

(a) are under 19 years of age;

(b)

are aged 6S or ove r.

(2) There shall be charged by the Director of

Muse u!1l$ a fee of Lm3 pe r person of 19 years of age or over ,

and Lm l per person under 19 years of age. for ad mi ssion 10
