IN exercise of the powers confe rred by seclion 51 of the Malta

Mari time Authorit y Act, ]9\11, the Mini~ler for Tnnsport ,

Communications and Technology, in 00", "1131;00 with the Authority

pleasure or culture, provided that the vessel does not embark or

transit .

(a) For the services and fa cilities provided for departing

passengers at a pori , there shall be payable to the Authority by the

ship owner o r the ship's master o r agent, ItS the ease may be, a fee of

Lm4 in respect of eac h departing passenger embarking on his ship.

(b)

For the servic:es and facilities provided for a tourist vessel

31 a port , there shall be payable 10 the A uthority by Ihe ship owner

or the ship's master or agen t , as the esse may be, a fee of Lm2 in

r~ of each passenge r aboard such vessel.

These regulations shall nOl apply to infants under fou r years of

The Pori (Passenger Servicc Charge) Regulations, 1985, are
