(AIMIIdmenI) Regulalkms, 1993

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of tile Public

Transport Authority Act, and by section 284 of the Code of Police

Laws, the Minister for Transport and Communications has made the

following regulations:-

I. (1) These regulations may be cited as the Wied ji.Zurrieq

Coastal Boats (Tariff of Fares) (Amendmenc) Regulations, 1993. and

shall be read and construed as one with the Wied it-Zurrieq Coastal

Boats (Tariff of Fares) Regulations, 1992, hereinafter referred to as

"the principal regulations~.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the day

immediately following the date of their publication in tile Gazette.

For paragraph (1) of regulation 3 of the principal regulations

tllere shall be substituted the following

~(l) There shall be set up a central office by Ihe licellSeC$ of

the Wied ii.-Zurrieq coastal boats which shall be responsible for the

sale and issue of tickers to passengers and the collection of the

relative fares prior 10 embarcation on any such coastal boat

Provided that passengers may purchase a ticket from any

person authorised by the said central office.~.

For the Schedule 10 the principal regulations, there shall be

substituted the following
