(1 ) 11Iesc regulations may be cited as the El«uiei ly Supply

(Ame ndment) Regulatio ns, ]993 and shall be read and construed asone

witllthe Electricity Supply Regulations, 1939. he reinafter referred to as

" the principal regula l ion~".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed 10 have come into

shall be added the following new )«tion

SI A. The Corporation mayen!er into agreemen ts with,

given against a fIxed rate of payment in lhe ~a~ of nation-

wide cable transmission systems subj«t to the following

conditions

(a) that the design load on cach power supply i5at

all times a constam load

(b) thal the power supply loading factor for each

power supply is in accordance wi th the slandards

developed by Enema lta;

«() that Encmalta may. from time to timc. meter

power supplies 10 benchma rk the s)'Slem asa Whole. and

to test the acruraC)' of cakulations for billing purposes;

(d) that the consu mer pays to Enemalta every

quan er an amounl based on lhe calculated consumption

Provided thal Encmalla shall have IIle right at Ihe-

cnd of each ca lendar year 10 adjusl any calculation for

that past (ale ndar year made as afore5llid on the basis of

any Int carried under paragraph (cl of this regulation

and 10 charge the consumer accordingly.".
