The Air N.Ylplloa (E_plIoa) Order, 1993

IN exercise of the powers conferred by Kction 3 of the Civil

Aviation Aa and article 89 of the Air N.vigation Order. 1990. the

Minister for Tnnsport and Communkations has made the following

ordcr: -

This order may be cited as The Air Navigation (E.J;emption)

1. Order. 1993,

The Minister hereby e~cmpts Sobc:lair (Societt Beige de

Transports per Air) (SLR) of 131, Avenue Frans Courtens, Brussels,

8 ·1030. Belgium from the requirements of the Air Naviption Orde r,

1990 in respect of the M.IICK registered aircrah type 737·200 bearina

the reptration muks 9H·ABC.nd 9H·ABB.

Provided that

(i) the !aid airCl'll.h shall be operated and maintained by

Sobelair personnel duly qualified and licensed under Belgian law;

(ii) the said airerah shall beoperlted in accordance with the

operatillJ rules of Belgian law and the requirements of AmICI. 6

Pan I and Annex 8 Pan 11 oftbe Chk:ago Convention 1944;

(iii) the supervision of the operation of the said aircraft shall

be taken over by the Belgian Civil Avialion Administration.

J. This order shall enter into foree o n the 23rd June , 1993 and

sh.all cease to have effect on tbe 3rd Novembe r, 1993.
