cables are marked or labelled wilh the following in formalion or words

which oon'l(:y Ihe ",me meaning; any such marking Or labelling shall be

legible and durable and done in English andlor Malrcse. Such labdling

is POt required on cables which , on account of their dimcnsions ,

cha racte ristics. propenies or olher cogenl grounds are manifestly

unsuilable for domestic power and lighting

"Electric cable " means an insulated condUCIOJ Or a n assembly

prolct'live rovering or co~rings. and shall also be held to include a

f1uiblc cable. f1Cl1iblc cord or cxlt:nsible lead .

5.3 "Fle~ible cable" mean s an electric cable which is required to

be capable of being flexed whil e in service and o f which the structu re

and materials arc such as to fulfil this requ irement.

" F1c~ible cord" means a f1c.ible cable wjlh a limited number

while in sheathed Oexible cords and cable5 comprising three or more
