The Institute shall be lovemed by. Board, which shall be composed as

The Board shall, in respect of the Institute, hue the power 10

(b) 5l.lpel'Vi$e tb(: ~neral direction of all academk matters, including

programmes of study courses , qualincations for admission of students,

examinations and grades;

(c) propcse the institution, suspension and abolition of acade mic and non-

academic postl; and

(d) nomi nate the Boards of Examiners and Co-ordinators of Progammcsof

Studies.

(J) 1lte functions of the Board shall be the following ;

The Institute shall have a Diru tor and staff.

(2) The Director. appointed by the Council of the Universityfollowinga call

University on the recommendation of the Board of the Institute ,

S. The Finanre Offirer of the University shall be the Treuurerofthe Institute.

The Directorsh all prepare the annual budget of the Instituteand Albmil it totbe Board

financial ltllemenl and to Se nate and Council an annual report on the activities oflhe

Institu te.
