IN exercise of the powers conferred by sectio ns 36 and 38 of the

Exchange Con trol Act , and all other powers him enabli ng, th e Minister

of Finance, has made the following order: -

I . ( I) This order may be ci ted as the Exchange Control

(Amendment) O rder, 1993 and shall be read aDd construed as one with

the Exchange Control O rder, 1973. hereinafter referred to as Mthe

pri ncipal order".

(2) Thisorde r sball come into force on the 1st January, 1994.
