Dockyard Acl. the Prime Mini ster has made the following

regulal;ons:-

I. These regulatio ns may be cited as the 8 ailey (Malla) Limited

(Winding Up) Regulations. 1!193.

l. (1) Whe reas the compan y in liquidation Bailey (Malta)

Lim ited, as defined in Ihe Malt a Dockyard Act , is nol registered under

Ihe Commercial Partnershi ps Ordinance, havi ng been granted an

e~emplion by the Malta Dockyard (Exemplion) Regulations. 1'166. and

whereas by virtue of section 3 of the Malta Dock yard Act and of

subsequent agrcc:men ts Ihe Gove rnment of Malta is now the w le

shareholder and the $Ole credi tor of the said company. and

consequen tly iI is nc\!Cs5a1')' and expcdicm IQ m~ ke special provision

willl resped 10 IlIe corK:lusion of l he winding up of the said company,

such win.ding up sliall be completed in a<:rordano.:e with this r'1!:ulation,

(2) The liquidator of Bailey (Malta) Limited sll.tll make an

lICalunt of the win.ding up , and of lIis receipts and pa)'TMnlS, duly

audited , an.d forward it to the Prime Ministu. The said liquidator shall

also dispose of the company's assets 8li the Prime Minister may direct.

(l) On the approval by the Prime Ministe r of the

liq uKlator's upon and the conclusion of the winding up of the compan y

as provided in these regulations, tile Prime Min ister 511all by notice in

the Gazette declare the company to lIa~e been so wound up: and

thereupon lhe company Bailey (Malt/l) l.imited shall cell$C to exist.

(4) The liquidator shall de live r tile boolr.$ and other

documents of the company to such person as tile Prime Mini!Her may

designate: and s.uch boolr.s and ot her documents sllall be so kept Or

otherwise: dealt with as the Prime Minister may direct.
