IN exercise of the powers oonkrred by IiCClion J of the Su ppl ies and

Services Aet, Ihe Minister of Finance has made the following

rcgulations:-

l1Iese regula tions may be ci ted as 1~ Importation (Control )

(Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations. 1992, and sllall be read and

c:(mscrued as one wilh the Im ponal ion (Control ) Regulations, 1969.

For regulations 5 and SA of Ihe principal regulations. there

shall be substituted the (oIlowing;-

the importation into these Islands of goods of any description

a country or countries again st which the Security Council of

the United Nations would have im posed any restrirtiOO$

United Nations Charte r.

(2) For the PUrpose$ of paragraph (I) of this

regulation, the Director shall by nmice in tIN: Gazelle publish

from time to time a reference to any resolution to which tIN

uid paragraph appl ies.

(3) Notwithstanding tlie provisions of any ot lier

regula tion . the importalion inlo tliese Islands of any goods

landed for transhi pment to • destina tion. when tlie

exportation of such goods to sutli destination is proliibi ted in

terms of regulation 3A of the Export ation (Control )

Regulations. 1948. is hereby prohibi ted. ~ .
