29(6) of the Educatio n Act, 1988, the Chancellor of the University of
Malla has prom ulgated the foUowing Statute made by the Council of the

SUlule 05 - The Library Committee
The Library Committee shall consist oflhe followinJ members
(a> the: RcCIOror his delegate, asOlainnan;

The members sining in Icnm of sub-paraaraph (c) of paragaph ( I) of
regulation 1 shall sit o n the Commino:c: for. period of one -semic year , provided that
the re pTe5Cnlati~e of e.ch Faculty shall alternate be~cn a student and a mcmber of
{he academiCSUff, Retiring members shall be eligible fo r re-appointment .
If one of the IDmlbers is absent withoo.lt suffio:il:nt ~ for three oooseeutive
meetings of the Commiltee, he WII c:ea5C to be a member , and another member shall
be appointed in his 51ead by Senate or the. KSU as thec:me may be . Such new member
shall remain in o ffice only during the remainin, period of officz of !be member repIaoed
by him .
The Committee shall meet at least once in every four months.

and voting and, in the ease of equality of votes. the Chairman or the member acting in

The Library Committee shall

fo rward it to Senate in the fonn approved by the Commillee
