29(6) of the Educatio n Act. 1988. t he C1Iancellor of the University of

Malla has prom ulgated the following regulalions made by the Senaleof

the University of Malta in vinue of the powers con ferred upon it by

regu]ations~) are amended as follows

Regulation 100a) of t he principal regulations is deleted and the following

regulation iuubslil uted therefor

"IO(a) There shall be two sessiom of the First and of the Second B.OI.O.

Examinations. l1Ic first _ion of the: First B.o.. D. Examination shall be held in

JanuarylFcbroary at the: end of the Thi rd Semester, and the iil:cond SO'iiSio n Shall be

held in the following June . The first iil:ssion of lh e Second B.Ch. D . Ex amination

shall be held in June at the end of the Sixth Semester and the second scssion shall be

held in the: followin g Septembe r ."

Regulation I1 of the principal regulations is de1c:ted and the following is

" 11. In each 5ubjc:c:t of the: Fil'llt and Second B.Ch.D . Exa mi nat ions. the

names of candidates who have passed the examination shall be published in

alphabetical order in each of fou r G roups: A . B . C , and 0 according to their

standard of merit. Candidates wOOsc names do not appear in any of the four grou ps
