lmportlltion (Con lrOl) (A mcndmcnl)(No. 4) Regulations, 1992

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Supplies and

.x1'Vices Act, tbe Minister of Finanee has made the "f()/k)wing

regul.liom:-

I. ( I) These regulations may be cited as the Importation

(Control ) (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations. 1992, aAd shall be read

and COIllilrued as one with tile Importation (Con trol) Regulations , 1969,

hereinafter refe~ \0 as Mlhe principal regulations".

These regulations shall come into force on the 1st

Immediate ly afte r paragraph (3) of regulation S of the principal

........... , ....... regulations there shall be added the following new panograph:-

Notwithstanding the provisions of Ihe forcg<Jing

paragraphs tile importation of any artic~ or other thingmadc,

manufadured, duplicated or otherwise reproduo;ed or copied

in violation of tbe riplS of oopyright enjoyed by any person

and protected by or under Mal tese law is hereby prohibited

and no licence shall be issued for sUl:h importation.~.
