DIspensaries (Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations, 1992

IN exercise of th e powers conferred by section 40 o f the Medical

and Kindred Professio ns O rdi nance. the Minister fo r Ho me Affairs and

Social Deve lopment, afler consultation with the Counci l of Healt h, has

mad e the followin g regu lations: -

I . These regulatio ns may be ci ted as the Dispe nsaries (licensing)

(A me ndment) RegulatiOns , 1992 and shall be read and conSlnied lI.Sone

with the Dispe nsaries (Licensing) Regulations. 1984, hereinafter

referred 10 as " the principal regulations",

Paragraph (8) of regul atio n 5 of the principal regulations shall

be deleted and a new paragraph (7) shall be inse n ed therein : -

~(7) The provisions of th is regu lation shall not apply to any

dispe nsary situa ted within the Malta Inte rnational A irport . nor

shall they apply to any dispensary where the busi ness thereat is

limited to the dispensing of veterinary medicinals and the sale of

veterinary products. and a signboard on the front of the premises

clearly indicates tha t the dispensary is a veterinary di spensary or

phannacy.".
