IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Po n s

O rdinance, the Minister for [)eve lo pmcnl of Tertiary Sector has made

the following regulations:-

I. These regulations ma~ be ci ted as the Pons (Amendmen t)

Reg ulations, 1991 and shall be read and oonst~d Hone with the Ports

Regulations. 1966. hereinafter referred 10 as " the prillcipal regula-

Immediately after regulation 132 of the principal regulations

there shall be added the following new regulation:-

133. (I ) Witho ut prej udice to any po",crs conferred

is ke pt . moored. bcrthed . stationed or anchored in breach of

any o f the foregoing regulations. from any place wi thin a port

to any other place with in that pon or any othcr pon.

(2) Any remova l effeded ;n pursuance of th is

regulation sha ll be at the ship'$ risk and expense.

(3) A ny remova l effected in pursuaoce of this

regul ation shall nOl prejudice any crimi nal 'Or civil action

taken or instituted . or which may be taken Of instituted.
