IN exercise of the powe", conferred by section 3 of :he Home

OwneT5bip (Encouragement) Act, 1988, the Director of Social

Housing. with the approval of the Parliamentary Secretary in the

Ministry for Social Policy wllh respoll$ibility for Housing, has made the

following regulations:-

I. These regulations may be cill:d as :he Home Ownership

(Encouragement) (Subsidy on Adaptation Works Scheme)

(Amendment) Regulations. 1991. and shall be read and co nstrued as

one wllh the Home Ownership (Enoouragemen l) (Subsidy 011

Adaptation Works Scheme) Regulations, 1990, hereinafter refe rred to

as Mthe principal regulations ".

The Sched ule to the principal regu laljom shall be amended in

sub-cl a use (I) of clause 3 of the Scheme thereof by substituting fur the

words " than the 30th J une . 1991 : ' the words "than the 3 1st Decembe r.
