The sum of money to be raised by the regi stered deben tures

shall be Lm l .(KX).(KX).

J. Interest shall be payable in arrear quarterly on the 15th day of

March. June, September and Dece mber of every yea r du ri ng the

currency of the debenture. The first payment of Lm 1.37.5 per Lm 100

debentu re covering the period from the 16th day of Ju ne 1991 to the

15th day of September. 1991 , sha ll be made on the 15th day of

September, 199 1.

A half-yearly appropriat ion of not less than LmSO.(KX) out of

the gen eral revenue and assets of the Government of Malta shall be

made as a com rih ution to the sinking fund establ ished for the purpose of

redee ming the Deben tures. The first contri buti on shall be made wi thin

a year from the 16th day of June, 199 1.
