Act. the Mi nister for DevclQpment of Infrastructure has mad e thc

fo llOWing regulations:-

I. ( I) These regulations may be: cited as the Inland PO!I\

(A mcndmclIl) (No. 4) Regulat ions. ]991. and shall be read and

con~lrucd as onc wi th the Inland POSI Regu lations. 1985. hereinafter

referred \0 as "the: princi pal regulations-.

(2) These regulalions shall come imo force on the 5th

Decembe r. 1991.

In regulat io n 7 of the principal regulations

(a) suh-paragraphs (2), (3) and (4) thereof shall be

renumbered as sub- paragraphs (3), (4) and (5) respcctiyely; and

(b) immediately afte r sul;).pa ragra ph (1) thereof. the re shall

be added the: following new sub-paragraph

-(2) All locally addressed postal articles may include a

Postcode. as indicated by the: Postmaster-Ge neral from lime

to time o n the not ice board of the Gene ral Post Office in

Valletta. which shall be written immediate ly after the town o r

village of the: addre n

Provided that al tnough such locally a.ddrcs.sed postal

an icles which do not include such PostcOOc shall still be

delivered. such articles ma y be delayed in the processin g
