( I) These regu lutio ns may be cited as Ihe Elect ricity Supply
(Amendmcnt) Regulations. 1991 und . hHII be read and conslrued :,so ne

( 2) Thesc regul ations shall have ...rreel ~s follows :-
(a)
regu lation 2 as from lilt: IS! November. 1991 : and
regulation 3 a~ from the ISI August. 1991 .
(b)
Immediately aner paragraph (5) o f regulation 17 o f Ihe
prim:ipal regu llltions the re shall be added thc fo ll owing ne w

tari fr: -
(i) The first pan of the tariff will be charged at
2c4 per unil on the consumpt ion regi stered betWee n 6.00
a.m . and 10.00 p.m. ofl he !>lime day
(ii) The seco nd pa rt ofthe tariff will be charged at
2e2 per unit on the consumption registered afl e r 10.00
pm. of onc d~y a nd 6.00a. m. of the following day
(iiij The Ihird pari of the tariff will be liIC rme of
Lm6.70 per KV A on the MiI~imum Demand regi~ lc rcd
during the year
(iv) The ra t e~ appli cabl e in subp;nagraphs (I ) and
(2) o f paragraph 2 of the Fourth Schedule shall not apply
to th~ co nsume r.; ",ho benefit from th e wriffs in
pa ra gr~ phs (i) . (ii) and (iii) above
(v) The provisions of paragraph (2) of regulation
42 rcg~rding th e di s.count of eight per centum on 1he
amou nt payable for Ihe consumption registered shall nOI
~ ppl y ",ith rcg~rd to 1he tariffs applicable in paragraphs
(i ). <ii ) and (i ii) above. ~ .
