IN exercise of Ihe POWCrll conferred by sect ion 3 of the Supplies and

Services Act a nd by section 2 of Ihe FCQ Ordi nance , the Ministe r for

Developme nt ofTe ni ary Sector, with the concurrence of the Minister

o f Finance. has made Ihe fo llowing regula tions:-

These regulations may be cited as the Sale of Ca n lc for

Sla ughter and Bee f (Control) (A mendment) Regul atio ns. 1990, and

shall he rcad and construed as one with th e Sale of Caule for Slaugh ter

and Bed (Control) Regulatio ns. 1990. hereinafter referred \0 as ~lhe

principal regulat ions".

For regu lation 4 of Ihe principal regulations there sllall be

substituted the (0110 .... ,08: -

(I) No person shall act as a wholesaler unl ess he is

in possession of a licence issued by the Di rector au thorising

him so 10 act.

(2) Any 5uch licence shall remain valid for the

period for wh ich it is issued or renewed. or until il is

withdrawn by the Director. whicheve r is the earli est date: and

if no period is mcn tio ned in the licence or in any renewal

tile rC()f it shall , unless it is earlie r withdrawn as aforesa id.

expire on the 31st day of Decembe r of tile ye ar of ils issue or

re newal.

(3) The Director may, in issuing 5uch a licence.

attach the reto any condi tion oroondi tions as he may deem fit.

(4) The Director shall have the right al any time to

withd raw any licence issued under these regulations. and in

particul ar if he is satisfied that any of th e condit ions of the

licence have not been omerved.

(5) A licence issued by the Director under these

regulations shall not exemptlhe holder from the req uirement

of having any o ther licenre under any othe r law.-.
