IN exercise of the powers conferred by section" of the Wi rdess

Telegraphy Ordinance. the Prime Minister has made the following

rcgulalions:-

These regulallon'l may be ciled as the Wireless Telegraphy

(Broadcast Uce nce Charges) (Amendment) Regula tions, 1990 and

shall be read and oonsnuoo as onc wi lh the Wi reJc.ss Telegraph y

(Broadcast Ucence Charges) Regulations. 1962, hereinafter referred to

as ~ Ihe princi pal reguJ.tions

Provided that in the case of th e

registration of an additional black and

whi te television re~lver by a licensee,

then: shall be paid once on ly. a regi stration

fee of Lm5 in respect of each add itiona l

portable television and Lm [0 in respcct of

any other additional te levisio n rece iver, nOI

being a portable television.

For the purposes of Ihis Schedule

"portable televi sion" means a television

apparatus which IS by construction and
