IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Wate r

Supply Ordimmcc , the Minister for Developme m of In frastructu re,

with the concurre nce orl he MinislcrofFinance. has made the fo llowing

rcgulations:-

I. ( I) These regulations may be ci ted as the Water Supply

(Ame ndme nt) Regula tions. 1990, and shall be read and oo nst rued as

o nC' with t he Wate r Supply Regulations, 1948, hereinafter referred to as

"Ihe principal regulations".

These regulations sllall come imo effect. wit h respect 10

any co nsumer. immediatel y afler the first read ing o f tile rdat ive water

supply meter. made afte r the fi rst o f April. 1990.
